STACK Sanction Form

Introduction

STACK

SUMMARY

PROCEDURE

  1. The Event Organiser will complete Form 1 and send it to the STACK Event coordinator. If there is a National Director in the country in which the event is run, then a copy should be send to her/him.
  2. The STACK Event coordinator will inform the STACK International Executive Committee (SIEC) and the International Head Judge (IHJ).
  3. SIEC will appoint a 'liaison' person for communication between STACK and the Event organiser.
  4. As quickly as possible SIEC shall inform the organiser/ event coordinator of the name of the 'liaison'. They will also provide all necessary addresses, a list of the appropriate Chief Judge and a checklist of all required equipment, personel, field requirements and event set-up etc.
  5. The organiser will then complete Form 2 and send it to the STACK liaison. The information given on the form will be used to asses whether the event should be sanctioned.
  6. If the SIEC (in conjunction with the liaison) approve the event, then they will send the organiser an approval form allowing them the right to use the STACK name and logo in conjuction with the event. Event application forms for competitors will also be supplied.
  7. The SIEC will advise the organiser of the names of the Chief judge and the judges
  8. If the organiser feels that they can not work with any of the judges on the list, given by SIEC, then they shall inform the liaison and (if the reasons are valid) then the SIEC will provide alternatives. They will do this only once!
  9. Ideally all of the above steps should be completed within 10 days of Form 2 being received by the STACK liaison.
  10. At this point competitors may be informed that STACK has approved the event; if the event includes precision competition, then the organiser will be provided with appropiate compulsory figures (by the Chief judge) and other information. It should be clearly stated, that the competition is open only to STACK members and that details will be given as to how flyers may join STACK. Competitors must receive all information about the actual competition at least 30 days before the event starts.
  11. Copies of all information send to competitors should also be send to the Liaison and to the Chief judge.

IN THE EVENT THAT THE ORGANISER DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS THEN THE STACK LIAISON (ON BEHALF OF THE SIEC) CAN, AT ANY TIME UP UNTIL THE FIRST PILOTS MEETING WITHDRAW SANCTIONING. FROM THEN ON THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE CAN WITHDRAW SANCTIONING FOR THE SAME REASONS.

If sanctioning is withdrawn then any use of the STACK name and logo will no longer be permitted, STACK judges will not be able to judge, and all competitors will be informed about the situation and will be advised not to fly.
