T-18 HAIRPIN WITH LANDING
- Key elements:
- the equal size of the two loops each kite makes
- flying the loops in the two rows vertically above each other
- "In" is called as soon as kite 1 is flying on a horizontal line at ^50.
The first simultaneous loop has a diameter of approximately 20%.
After completing the downward turn the kites will line up on a horizontal line at approximately 5% between wingtip and ground.
The second roll has a diameter of 20%.
All kites will then execute a sequential landing (nr. 1 first, nr. 2 second etc.)before "Out" is called.
N.B. The final landing does not involve a roll hence the small amount of upward travel indicated on the diagram.
